Australia struggled to 212 for 7 at Stumps on Day 1 of the Third Digicel Test Match at the Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica

On a pitch that offered quick turn and bounce, Australia struggled to score 212 for 7 in 90 overs on Day 1 of the third and final Test at the Windsor Park in Roseau in Dominica.

Local Dominican boy Shane Shillingford was a nightmare for the visitors as the tall off spinner claimed 4 for 77 in 34 overs. Shilingford got the ball to kick up with sharp turn to make life miserable for the Australian batsmen.

David Warner (50 from 136 balls with 6 fours) and Shane Watson (41 from 120 balls with 3 fours) tried to repair the situation but Australia went nowhere after their dismissals at 105 for 3.

Australia slipped to 169 for 7 by the evening and could recover slightly to 212 for 7 by stumps with Matthew Wade at the crease on 22* (from 72 balls) along with Mitchell Starc on 24*.
