The second ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at Hambantota was washed out due to persistent rain for about four hours. Five overs were bowled in the match after Bangladesh had asked Sri Lanka to bat first.

The second ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at Hambantota was washed out due to persistent rain for about four hours. Five overs were bowled in the match after Bangladesh had asked Sri Lanka to bat first. The Lankans put on 33 for no loss with Kushal Perera scoring 18* (from 21 balls) and Dilshan getting 10* (from 9 balls). The first ODI which was played at this same venue was also affected by rain but saw a result with Dilshan’s century guiding the Lankans to an easy victory.

The third and final ODI of the series moves to Kandy on the 28th of this month. Bangladesh’s tour ends with a T20I at Kandy on the 31st.
