With the Indian Premier League 9 coming to an end, we take a look at the Top 10 bowlers in the tournament.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: The Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer finished as the leading wicket-taker in the event, with 23 wickets in 17 games at a strike rate of 17.2, and was among the players instrumental in the team’s win. Kumar’s economy rate in the tournament was 7.42, his average was 21.30, with a best of 4 for 29.

Yuzvendra Chahal: The Bangalore bowler played a big part in the team’s resurgence, and their subsequent progress to the final. In 13 games, he scalped 21 wickets at an excellent strike rate of 14. Chahal finished with an economy rate of 8.15 and an average of 19.9, and a best of 4 for 25.

Shane Watson: The RCB all-rounder finished as the third highest wicket-taker with 20 wickets. But, his economy was on the higher side, at 8.58, and it hurt them in the final, as he went for plenty of runs to put his team in trouble. Watson finished with a strike rate of 16.9, an average of 24.25, and a best of 4 for 29.

Dhawal Kulkarni: The Gujarat Lions pacer impressed with 18 wickets from 14 games at a strike rate of 16.3 and an economy rate of 7.42. Kulkarni averaged a highly commendable 20.22 in the series with a best of 4 for 14, in what was a special performance, although it ended up in a losing cause.
