Left arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul claimed a superb 5 for 58 in 31.2 overs as India A collapsed to 202 all out on Day 2 of the Second Unofficial Test at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown. With this the hosts collected a slender first innings lead of 15 runs and by the close of the second day ended at 6 for no loss.

India A had earlier bowled out West Indies A in their first innings for 217 with pacer Shami Ahmed taking 4 for 43. After that India A had a disastrous start of 12 for 2 and then 88 for 4.

Wickets kept on falling at regular intervals for the visitors and it was a crucial 67 (from 170 balls with 5 fours and a six) from Skipper Cheteshwar Pujara that could significantly cut down West Indies A’s lead. Leggie Rahul Sharma contributed with a neat 30.
