Here are the highlights of how 12 wickets fell down on the fourth day's play leading to the Australian victory :

Australia 2nd Innings

Over 66.5 Z Khan to MEK Hussey, CAUGHT, there it is from Zaheer, it has taken 29 minutes this morning for India to dislodge this 9th wicket pair and they have got the big fish Hussey! It was like a leg cutter from Zak, short of length, angling in to make the left hander play and then getting the deviation away from him to catch a thin edge for the keeper! Australia lead by 248 runs. MEK Hussey c Dhoni b Khan 89 (219m 151b 9x4 0x6) Australia 197/9 (66.5 Overs)

Over 76.3 I Sharma to BJ Hilfenhaus, CAUGHT, that's it, Australia have been bowled out for 240! Hilfenhaus is only half forward as he tries to drive inside out but can only get a thick edge which flies straight to VVS at second slip. India need 292 runs to win this Test Match. They have got 35 minutes to bat before Lunch. BW Hilfenhaus c Laxman b Sharma 14 (43m 29b 2x4 0x6) Australia 240/10 (76.3 Overs)

India 2nd Innings

Over 5.6 BJ Hilfenhaus to V Sehwag, CAUGHT, Sehwag leans back and plays a thrashing cut but its in the air and gets caught by Hussey at gully overhead! Width was there, it was short but Sehwag didn't get the elevation to clear gully! V Sehwag c Hussey b Hilfenhaus 7 (24m 12b 1x4 0x6) India 17/1 (5.6 Overs)

Over 12.1 PM Siddle to G Gambhir, CAUGHT, and Siddle strikes for the Aussies, Gambhir fails again! This is a nasty delivery with a bit of extra bounce around off and moving away and Gambhir on the backfoot pushed at it and edged it to Ponting at second slip! G Gambhir c Ponting b Siddle 13 (54m 46b 1x4 0x6) India 39/2 (Overs 12.1)

Over 18.6 JL Pattinson to RS Dravid, BOWLED HIM, Pattinson drives his fast car right through the gate of Dravid! Its the length delivery, Dravid isn't sure whether to come forward or go back, and by then the express delivery nips back, goes through the gate and crashes onto the middle stump! R Dravid b Pattinson 10 (58m 29b 1x4 0x6) India 58/3 (18.6 Overs)

Over 22.6 JL Pattinson to VVS Laxman, CAUGHT, Laxman is gone with the wind, he gets a length ball swinging back onto his pads and casually flicks it uppishly and the ball flies straight into the hands of Cowan at squareleg! The Umpire wants to check for a noball! Pattinson was very close in overstepping but just managed to get some part of his foot behind the line. VVS Laxman c Cowan b Pattinson 1 (20m 14b 0x4 0x6) India 68/4 (22.6 Overs)

Over 23.3 BJ Hilfenhaus to V Kohli, OUT LBW, gone plumb infront, poor shot from the young man, he's duck out! A length delivery and Kohli half forward was looking to play a flick right across the line and got hit on the pad by one that nipped back just enough around off! Kohli reckons he got an inside edge but that wasn't the case and he could be in trouble with the Match Referee! V Kohli lbw b Hilfenhaus 0 (1m 1b 0x4 0x6) India 69/5 (23.3 Overs)

Over 26.1 PM Siddle to SR Tendulkar, CAUGHT, gone, that should be the end of India's hopes! Siddle pitches it up outside off and Tendulkar stretches forward for an expansive cover drive but only to get a thick edge which is caught at gully! Hussey holds onto that sharp chance! Siddle has replaced Pattinson. SR Tendulkar c Hussey b Siddle 32 (71m 46b 4x4 0x6) India 81/6 (26.1 Overs)

Over 34.6 PM Siddle to R Ashwin, CAUGHT, gets inside the line to tuck a rising delivery to fine leg, but the ball climbs up too big and hits the glove and lobs up for shortleg to take an easy catch. R Ashwin c Cowan b Siddle 30 (36m 35b 5x4 0x6) India 117/7 (34.6 Overs)

Over 40.5 JL Pattinson to Z Khan, CAUGHT, Zaheer backs away and attempts to flick a length ball, he gets a bat pad inside edge which lobs up straight to shortleg! Z Khan c Cowan b Pattinson 13 (26m 22b 1x4 1x6) India 141/8 (40.5 Overs)

Over 42.2 JL Pattinson to MS Dhoni, BOWLED HIM, MSD gets half forward and looks to whack it across but can only do it onto his off stump with an inside edge! MS Dhoni b Pattinson 23 (85m 44b 0x4 1x6) India 142/9 (42.2 Overs)

Over 47.5 Nathan Lyon to U Yadav, CAUGHT, this time it looks like a clean hit from Umesh Yadav on a bent knee, and it looks like a sure six, but instead its a brilliant running and jumping catch from Warner to his right at long on! So Australia win the First Test by 122 runs to go 1-0 up in the 4-Test Series. U Yadav c Warner b Lyon 21 (26m 25b 2x4 1x6) India 169/10 (47.5 Overs)
