Australia Innings
Australia won the Second Semi Final at Gros Islet by 3 wickets with just the one ball to spare in a sensational chase of 192 courtesy of a gem from Mr. Cricket - Michael Hussey. They have now deservingly entered the Final against England and have maintained their 100 % winning streak! This purely was a sensational match, down and out were the Aussies one thought but Pakistan forgot to get rid of Mike Hussey who came up with his magic wand to pull off this scintillating chase coming down as low as no.7! Michael struck gold with each and every big hit off his to smash 6 sixes and 3 fours in an unbeaten knock of 60 from 24 balls!
The final over of the chase needed 18 runs to score which was a daunting task but was possible with a slow bowler in Saeed Ajmal operating for Pakistan. Once Mitchell Johnson got a single off the first ball, the rest was for the Man of the Match - Mike Hussey to win or lose the game. The left hander just swung his arms through and found the boundaries too short in his three sixes to deliver the magic moments! Australia prior to this were struggling at 62 for 4 in the 9th over. Cameron White displayed some fireworks to bring them back in the game with his 31-ball 43 which had as many as 5 sixes! However, when he holed out to long off, it seemed that Pakistan regained control of the match by reducing the score to 139 for 6 in the 17th over. The rest of the chase was unbelievable with Michael Hussey clobbering two consecutive sixes over mid wicket, a boundary sliced over point and the match winning six swept over mid wicket!
Pakistan Innings
The Unpredictables - Pakistan have stunned Australia by smashing a total of 191 for 6 after being asked to bat first at Gros Islet in the 2nd Semi Final. This was possible largely because of a superb opening stand of 82 in 9.4 overs between Kamran Akmal (50 from 34 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes) and Salman Butt (32 from 30 balls). One down bat - Umar Akmal came in and provided the fireworks with an unbeaten 56 from 35 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. In the process, the Australian bowling comprising of three genuine quicks looked ordinary for a change. There were as many as 20 runs conceded through extras which included 10 byes conceded by Haddin.
Toss and Teams
Australia have won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first under slightly damp pitch conditions. The sky remains to be overcast so the ball should be swinging around while the moisture in the surface would aid the seam bowling. No overs have been reduced from the contest. Both sides have stuck to the same combination.

Pakistan : Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal (WK), Khalid Latif, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi (C), Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Aamer, Abdur Rehman and Saeed Ajmal
Rain Delay Report
The Second Semi Final Match between Australia and defending T20 World Championship Champions - Pakistan is off to a delayed start due to rain. There is plenty of hope for a match to get underway with a couple of additional hours in store. It's not raining that much but there is a huge threat of a heavy shower because of the thick black clouds hovering in the sky. The outfield has certainly taken some beating and that's the reason why the Super Soppers are on duty clearing all the water. The winner of this match will play England in the Final.
