Ireland will face India in the 21st game of the World Cup on March 6. The game will be played at the M Chinnaswamy in Bangalore.
This was the same ground on which India managed a tie against England and Ireland managed to beat England. With these results it has been proved that the pitch is more suited to bat second and that will be a big question for the captains winning the toss.
India will look to ensure that the batsmen do their job once again but their biggest fear will be the bowling. With the bowlers having come to nothing in the last game, it will be imperative that the Irish side does not take charge of the Indian bowling.
Ireland will need to get the top-order to play. Kevin O’Brien’s innings was a freak show in their previous game and will be looking to get going again. How he does that will remain to be seen against the Indian spinners.
