Kolkata Knight Riders win by 39 runs. Well the name Manoj Tiwary comes to my mind, sensational finish he gave to the KKR innings to take the score to 183 and then a stunning catch in the deep to get rid of the dangerous Yuvraj. Agarkar playing his first game of the season bowled pretty well. Analyzing this match is so simple and the bottomline is that Kings XI lost because of a bad first over from Lee and a worst last over from Irfan!
Over 19.6: Beaten! AB Agarkar to K Goel, pitched up delivery, beats him with an outswinging yorker at 135 kmph.
Over 19.5: Single. AB Agarkar to B Lee, short and rising delivery, cuts it down to thirdman for a single.
Over 19.4: Beaten! AB Agarkar to B Lee, pitched up delivery, gets an inside edge to the yorker which is well stopped by Saha. Lee looking for a run is sent back and is lucky that the Keeper missed the stumps.
Over 19.3: 1 Bye. AB Agarkar to K Goel, pitched up delivery, beats him with a wide yorker and is forced to run for a bye by Lee who probably wanted to enjoy taking the strike.
Over 19.2: Single. AB Agarkar to B Lee, full toss, heaves it to wide mid wicket for a single.
Over 19.1: Boundary! AB Agarkar to B Lee, short and rising delivery, makes room and top edges his pull just over the Keeper down the legside for a boundary.
End of Over 19
Over 18.6: Single. SE Bond to B Lee, short of length delivery, swipes the slower one to wide long on for a single.
Over 18.6: Wide Ball. SE Bond to B Lee, greets him with a bouncer and that's given as a wide for its height.
Over 18.5: He is Caught! SE Bond to IK Pathan, short and rising delivery, attempts a pull and is done in for pace and can only give a simple return catch to Bond with the ball coming off the splice.
Over 18.4: Single. SE Bond to K Goel, short and rising delivery, pulls it back to the bowler who gets hit on the leg and the ball deflects towards mid on. They get a single from it.
Over 18.3: Beaten! SE Bond to K Goel, short and rising delivery at 145 kmph, makes room for a cut and this time is beaten for pace.
Over 18.2: Beaten! SE Bond to K Goel, short and rising delivery, beats the upper cut with a slower off cutter.
Over 18.1: Sixer! SE Bond to K Goel, good length delivery, makes room and clobbers that high over wide long on for a majestic six in the crowd!
Over 17.6: Single. AD Mathews to K Goel, pitched up delivery, flicks the attempted yorker to long on for a single.
Over 17.5: Single. AD Mathews to IK Pathan, bangs it short, pulls it away to deep squareleg for a single.
Over 17.4: Single. AD Mathews to K Goel, short and wide, slams it to extra covers for a single.
Over 17.3: Single. AD Mathews to IK Pathan, short and rising delivery, pulls it down to deep squareleg for a single.
