Virat Kohli was a pleased man after India beat England by seven wickets at Bristol to clinch the T20 series 2-1. Rohit Sharma smashed a brilliant hundred while Hardik Pandya came up with a superb all-round show.

"Rohit was obviously very special but Hardik was standout. We backed up something and the guys produced the goods for us. We will continue to try different things in the batting order and the bowlers. The guys are taking this as an opportunity. Great to start with a series win," Kohli was quoted as saying at the post match presentation ceremony.

"I think the comeback from the bowlers was outstanding, we thought they would get 225-230. The character they showed is something we are really proud of. As captain, very happy to see that. We had the quality to bowl those wicket-taking deliveries. We applied pressure and pulled the game back," he added.

While Rohit smashed an unbeaten 100, Pandya blasted 33 from just 14 balls to take India home.
